6003 - Recon Record On MEDS/Not On County - No Recon Update - Alert

This alert is generated when:

• A record for the displayed eligibility segment type was found on MEDS but there is no matching record in CalSAWS, and
• The Recon change date on MEDS for the Recon transaction segment type was on or after the creation date of the county Recon file.

A Recon update was not generated because the MEDS information is presumed to be more current.

Refer to Data Element Dictionary Overview for the definition of Segment Type.

Action Required

The EW must review the case to ensure the CalSAWS record is correct.

• If CalSAWS is INCORRECT (client is eligible), complete the necessary entries to establish eligibility in CalSAWS.
• If CalSAWS is CORRECT (client is no longer eligible), complete an SCD 1296 requesting the MTO to initiate an update to match MEDS with CalSAWS.
