6004 - Recon Record On MEDS/Not On County - Recon Term Generated - Priority Alert

This alert is generated when:

A record for the displayed eligibility segment type was found on MEDS, but there is no matching record in CalSAWS,
The last change date on MEDS was PRIOR to the creation date of the county Recon file, and
One of the following situations occurred:
- The MEDS record contains CalFresh eligibility, or
- The MEDS record contains other than CalFresh eligibility that is presumed inactive.

Eligibility is presumed inactive when the last MEDS eligibility update was more than 6 months in the past. A Recon update transaction was generated to terminate the recipient with a termination reason of ‘RR’ on MEDS.

The INQM screen shows eligibility for the month of November 2006, the month of the alert. The recon process terminated the recipient with a termination reason of ‘RR’. Edwards aid code (38-0) was not allowed because the recipient is eligible on MEDS but not in CalSAWS; and the last change date for the displayed eligibility segment (primary) is over 6 months (1/9/2006).

Action Required

The EW must check CalSAWS to ensure the termination is correct.

If CORRECT (client no longer eligible), no further action is required.
If INCORRECT (client is eligible), correct the data in CalSAWS to reestablish eligibility and if necessary, complete an SCD 1296 requesting the MTO to reverse the termination on MEDS prior to the next renewal.
