9025 - Critical Client Data Not Updated - Check For Elig Impact - Action
This alert is generated to notify the EW that another entity (e.g., Social Security, MAXIMUS, etc.) has submitted an update to MEDS; however, due to MEDS update priority logic, certain critical client data fields are NOT updated.
The alert is sent to the EW for verification. Information is NOT changed on MEDS. The critical client data fields are:
- MEDS-ID
- Birthdate
- Sex
- Address.
Action Required
The EW must contact the client to determine which data is correct (MEDS or the data sent from the other source).
- If the information on CalSAWS and MEDS is correct, no further action is required. Notify the other agency, if possible, so that they can have their records corrected.
- If the information on CalSAWS and MEDS is INCORRECT, update the appropriate Data Collection page(s) with the new information. CalSAWS will send a transaction to MEDS to correct the MEDS record.
