9026 - Client Data Changed- Check for County System Update - Alert

This alert is generated to notify the EW that another entity (e.g., Social Security, MAXIMUS, etc.) has submitted an update to MEDS and the client’s name is changed as a result.

Action Required

The EW must review the case record or contact the client to confirm which name is correct.

  • If the name shown on MEDS is correct, update the recipient’s Individual Demographics Detail page with the correct name.
  • If the name shown on MEDS is INCORRECT, notify the other agency so they can have their records corrected. If necessary, submit an SCD 1296 requesting the MTO to correct the name on MEDS.
