9029 - Duplicate Active Applications Identified - Action
This message is generated when a MEDS record has been affected by an EW11 transaction initiated by another county or entity, and the data on MEDS has been overlaid.
This message is also generated when a MEDS record has been affected by other daily transactions (e.g., AP18), regardless of who initiated the transaction including the CalHEERS subsidized applications with an Application Flag of ‘K’ on INQP screen, and the data on MEDS has been overlaid.
Action Required
Compare the application information on CalSAWS and MEDS. Corrective action depends on which record is correct.
- If information on CalSAWS/CalHEERS and MEDS matches, no further action is required.
- If information on MEDS is correct, change the data in CalSAWS and request MAGI Determination that will send the information to CalHEERS and match the information on MEDS.
- If information on MEDS is INCORRECT, submit an SCD 1296 requesting the MTO to correct the application information on MEDS.
