2004 - ICT - County Code Same as County Code on File - Reject

This error was caused by the generation of a Transfer County of Responsibility (EW05) transaction to MEDS when the person is already active on MEDS in our county. This alert is often generated as a result of an approval via CalSAWS after the EW has already had the MTO generate an approval transaction via MEDS.

Action Required

• Obtain INQM screen on MEDS and determine if the recipient’s ‘ELIG-STAT’ is active for all the correct months.
  • If active under correct county code, no further action is required.
  • If not active under correct county code and the MEDS record hasn’t been activated for all appropriate months, complete an SCD 1296, requesting the MTO activate the record for the necessary month(s).
