6007 - Dup Records On County Recon File - Check Food Stamp Elig - Reject
This alert is generated when:
- Multiple Food Stamp records are found in CalSAWS with the same MEDS-ID, and
- There is a matching record on CDB.
Recon update transactions are NOT generated to place Food Stamp records on Hold because Food Stamp information on MEDS is not used to determine Food Stamp benefits.
Only two duplicate county records are displayed on the alert. If there are more than two duplicate records, alert message 6009 is also issued to notify the county of how many additional duplicate records are found.
When this alert is generated, no further reconciliation is done for the Recon transaction.
Action Required
The EW must identify all duplicate CalSAWS records and determine which, if any, is the correct record.
- Identify and correct or terminate the duplicate record in CalSAWS, and
- Complete an SCD 1296 requesting the MTO to initiate the appropriate transaction to correct MEDS.
