6009 - Dup Records On County Recon File Exceeded Maximum Printed - Reject

This alert is generated when the CalSAWS Recon file contains more than the maximum number of duplicate records allowed for a County, MEDS-ID, or eligibility segment type. The alert displays a maximum of two duplicate records and the total number of duplicate records found. If a matching MEDS record is found, it will also be displayed. This alert is routed to the MEDS Coordinator.

Action Required

MEDS Coordinator will work with the EW to identify all duplicate county records and determine which, if any, is the correct record. Actions include:

  • Identify and corrector or terminate the duplicate record in CalSAWS, and
  • Complete an SCD 1296 requesting the MTO to initiate an update to MEDS to establish eligibility if otherwise eligible.
