Child Care Service Cal-OAR Measure

Cal-OAR includes the Child Care Access Rate (percentage). The measure Denominator are WTW active participants and Exempt Volunteers who indicated a need, and are eligible for subsidized child care. In CalSAWS, ensure that the following are completed:

• Child Care Needs List page, [Child Care] child information fields.
• Child Care Need Detail page [Child Care] Begin Date field. 
• Child Care Program Detail page [Child Care] Eligible field is selected with "Yes." 
• Child Care Certificates List page [Child Care] Funding Source field should reflect “Stage 1,” enter Start Date and Stop Date field, and the Status field should reflect "Approved.”
   

Note: The numerator used to calculate the rate is the number of clients receiving subsidized child care services in the measurement period.
