In this case, there is an embedded left parentheses in the alert 0004 and an embedded right parentheses in the alert 0014. Data elements may not contain embedded parentheses.

DHCS Action Required

• Review and compare the address in MEDS on INQM/INQA screen and in CalSAWS on the Address Detail page. Submit updates as needed to correct MEDS or CalSAWS.
• Verify whether the record has been placed in Hold by looking for a 2502 Recipient In Hold Status alert message on the same day as this alert; or by going to the INQS Client Inquiry Summary screen and selecting an eligibility screen.
