1103 - Insufficient Info for Birth Record Match for Under Age 1 - Urgent

This alert is generated when the AP19 transaction sent to request a Vital Statistics Match (California Birth Record match) for an infant under the age of one contains insufficient information. A complete birth record match request for an infant should include at least one of the following:

The infant’s birth certificate number, OR
Mother’s birthdate and birthplace, OR
Father’s birthdate and birthplace.

Action Required

Check the [INQE] screen to see if the citizenship information is already recorded.

If YES, no further action is required.
If NO, review the Vital Statistics Detail page and Birth Certificate Information page section to ensure all required data is entered and resubmit a new Vital Statistics Match. Complete an SCD 1296 for a MEDS online AP19 transaction to request the birth match, if necessary.
