1083 - Age Not Within Acceptable Range for Aid Code - Priority Action
This alert is generated when the age of the recipient is outside the acceptable range for the Aid Code. The range may be from birth to a maximum age or may be a minimum and maximum age.
Example: A child who is over 1 year old is active on MEDS under aid code P9 (0-1 year aid code.)
Action Required
- Verify the aid code and birthdate of the recipient are correct.
- Correct the appropriate information and resubmit the transaction.
Note: In most cases where the EW was attempting to resolve the 9553 alert, which is the Renewal counterpart to this alert, alert 1094 was received rather than the 1083 alert.
