1094 - Displayed Data Elements Contain Conflicting Information - Priority Reject

This alert is generated when a transaction sent to MEDS/CDB either though the CalSAWS nightly batch process or the MTO contained one or more conflicting Data Element(s), and MEDS/CDB rejected the transaction.

An example of conflicting Data Elements is when the EW sends an EW20 (Add) with the Aid Code 47 (200% Income Disregard Program - infant) for a child who is older than one year old. In these instances, the MEDS Network will reject transactions and generate CEWAs. Since the conflicting fields were critical to the update, this transaction did not update MEDS.
