1095 - Displayed Data Elements Contain Conflicting Information - Action

This alert is generated when a transaction sent to MEDS/CDB either though the CalSAWS nightly batch process or the MTO contains conflicting Data Element(s), and the transaction was accepted by MEDS/CDB as the conflicting information is not critical to the update. If there are no other fatal CEWAs generated for the transaction, some or all of the transaction information will have been accepted by the MEDS Network.

Example: An EW 10 (Change) transaction is sent with a Social Security Number as the new MEDS-ID, but the client has no SSN.

Refer to Data Element Dictionary Overview for information on displayed data elements.

Action Required

Like the alert 1094, the conflicting Data Element(s) that have caused the error are usually printed on the INWD screen.

Review the [Data-Element] and [Contents] fields on the INWD screen to determine which data elements are in conflict, and

Check both MEDS and CalSAWS/CalHEERS to insure that all information sent in the transaction has been updated correctly and successfully.

If an error is found and needs to be corrected, resubmit the transaction with correct information depending on the nature of the problem.
