2032 - SSAN-Ver Change Not Permitted for Validated SSAN - Accept
This alert is generated when an EW30 (Modify) transaction is received in which the county is attempting to change the VER Code (e.g., from a ‘J’ to a ‘3’, etc). The change transaction has rejected. Once an SSN has been validated by the Social Security Administration, the SSN-VER Code cannot be changed.

Action Required
- If this alert is received as a result of online transaction done via the MTO, the alert can be ignored.
- If the SSN on MEDS/CDB is not correct, the client must be referred to the Social Security Administration with an MC 194. Follow the procedures listed in the In the interim, the SSN which matches MEDS/CDB must be re-entered on the SSN Detail page.
