2070 - Recipient Not Currently in Hold Status - Reject
This alert is generated when a transaction is generated to release a MEDS Hold, but the MEDS record is not in ‘Hold’ status. This alert can be generated because:
- An MTO generated a ‘Release Hold’ transaction for a record that is not in Hold status. or
- Previous MEDS errors have not been corrected.
Action Required
- Obtain a [Primary Medi-Cal/CMSP Information] INQM screen print to identify any problem.
- If this alert was generated as a result of an MTO error (e.g., attempting to release a Hold for a record not currently in Hold status), the alert can be ignored.
- If this alert was generated as a result of a previous uncorrected MEDS error (e.g., prior Hold not successful due to a DOB, SSN, etc. mismatch), correct the original error to ensure that future transactions will be successful.
