2060 - Incomplete Address on Transaction - Action
This alert is generated whenever an incomplete address is sent to MEDS/CDB. When an address transaction is sent to MEDS/CDB either through the MTO or CalSAWS, the address (all lines of address - Address-Line, City/State and Zip Code in CalSAWS) on the Authorized Representative (AR) Detail page or on the Address Detail page will be checked against the United States Postal Service (USPS) address database through a commercial software called Finalist. If the address sent in the transaction is not passed by Finalist, MEDS/CDB will update and store the address as it is, but will not send a BIC (Benefits Identification Card) to the client and also will set the ‘Address Flag’ to 2. Recon alert 6017 is also generated along with alert 2060.
Action Required
- Review the detail message of the alert 2060 to identify if incomplete address is associated with physical/mailing address or AR address and compare the address in CalSAWS (CW)/CalHEERS (CH)/MEDS if matched.
- Review the physical and home address on the Address Detail page or on the Authorized Representative Detail page in CalSAWS and on Household Page in CalHEERS and INQM/INQA on MEDS to verify the address number, street and city are correct and valid.
- If any of those fields are incorrect in CS/CH, fix the error, run EBDC and save and accept the results. Check MEDS in two work days.
- If any of those fields are incorrect on MEDS, submit SCD 1296 to correct the address on MEDS.
Note: For homeless client, home address is blank on INQM on MEDS. Homeless [Y/N] field in CalSAWS must be marked [Y].
