IEVS/SAVE System

The purpose of the IEVS/SAVE system is to provide EWs with a convenient and effective method of requesting wage, asset and beneficiary information as well as immigration status for noncitizens. The IEVS/SAVE system is separate from MEDS and has its own set of batch and online transactions, online inquiries, reports, and processing.

• IEVS is the acronym for Income and Eligibility Verification System.
• SAVE is the acronym for Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements.
